Adding and Editing LaTeX Macros

Select Macros from the Menu

Once you open the Macro Editor, the Macros Menu now shows that you can import and export a plist file

Files:

• frcHeaderMacros.plist
• frcShortMacros.plist
• My lastest version of the grids.tex include file
• My old trusty jPicEdt.jar a Java App that makes Figures -> TeX.

  You may need:

  1. Java Runtime from java.com (Java 8)
  2. Tell MacOS to trust this app. (click picture to embiggen)
     

     Right click jpicedt.jar

     Confirm that this is not made by some corporate entity known to Apple, open anyway

     Confirm it can open and save files

• The lastest Beta version of jpicedt-install_1_6-pre1_20171001.jar is an install of the latest beta version, which seems to work well, but different workflow (saves the LaTex to a file, rather that a quick copy-paste).
