The 5 practice tests in your textbook is an excellent way to prepare yourself.+To prepare for the actual AP exam in May, we will be using several practice exams from the College Board in the next few months, starting with the Qtr Exam. The AP exam in May will have two parts: Multiple choice (75 minutes) and Free Response (105 minutes), The last two classes of the quarter are short (Friday schedule and an X schedule)so this quarter will be a little differentdividing an AP Practice exam into three parts. The Qtr 3 Exam is cumulative, just like the other quarter exams,  
  
-It is a good idea to review the daily quiz answer keys posted at [[https://plusportals.com/saintfrancishs| plusPortals]]as well as past AP Questions like [[http://apcs.mathorama.com/index.php?n=Main.APQuestionScrambleWord|ScrambleWord]].  Remember to  go back and review the multiple choice questions and statements written in bold print in the text.  To review the free response, be sure to consult the [[http://apcs.mathorama.com/index.php?n=Main.StudyGuideForChapter2|Chapter 2 Study Guide]] and the  [[http://apcs.mathorama.com/index.php?n=Main.StudyGuideForChapter3|Chapter Study Guide]].  Don't forget that you don't need computer to practice writing code at [[http://codingbat.cs.vt.edu/codingbat/java|javabat.com]].  The free response will emphasize writing methods that deal with int, double, and String and arrays of intdoubleand String that might need loop.  Practice writing loops, methods, and class declarations like the ones mentioned on the [[http://apcs.mathorama.com/index.php?n=Main.StudyGuideForChapter2|Chapter 2 Study Guide]], [[http://apcs.mathorama.com/index.php?n=Main.Semester1FinalStudyGuide|Semester Study Guide]]  and [[http://codingbat.cs.vt.edu/codingbat/java| javabat]] exercises.+Like before, the test will be curvedThe AP Exam usually awards a passing grade of for 50% correct, 4 for 65% correct, and a top score of 5 for 75% correct One way to think of it is an A is 3 correct for every incorrect, a B is 2 correct for every incorrect, and a C for correct for every incorrect
